New Beginnings

I’ve finally made my move from Blogger and I’m feeling very satisfied since I think WordPress has more features. Plus, I wanted a blog that would be more permanent than my Blogger one. My Blogger URL mentions South Korea, so I knew I wouldn’t want to use it after returning to the US. I’ve toyed with the idea of importing my old posts, but I’m too lazy for that sort of thing.

Side note: I feel a bit weird about using the same layout as a fellow FB’er, but I like this layout and it gives the option to customize the header, so I had to go for it.

With this new blog, I’m hoping to also cultivate a new writing style. I want this blog to be more substantive than my previous attempts at blogging. There will still be anecdotes from my life, but I will try and avoid the ” . . . and then I did this and it was so cool” crap that no one actually wants to read.
