Signs You’ve Been in Korea Too Long
A few weeks ago, I started sorting through the cluttter in my room in order to facilitate the packing process. As I was cleaning things out from under my bed, I came across a quarter with a state design that I wasn’t familiar with. It actually took me several minutes to figure this out, though.
I was perplexed by the sight of this mysterious coin. I started at it for a half minutes before thinking, “Is this an oh-baek won?” I curiously picked up the coin and, to my surprise, it was the currency of my home country that I couldn’t recognize.
Oh, Korea.
