Countdown
0: Hellish days of teaching before I show a movie. You’d think I’d be more excited, yeah? Right now I’m a bit worried about how the 2nd years will like the movie I picked out for them–they’re a picky bunch, I tell ya. If it goes over well, I’ll start relaxing.
Last week, I was kind of backed into a situation and I now find myself volunteering to give a two-hour presentation to elementary schoolers on Friday. I’m not thrilled about it (2 hours?!), but I couldn’t make myself say no. I also found myself phone-stalked as a result. Being phone stalked is a pet peeve of mine, but I should be more flexible about it because the cell phone culture is very different here.
Today, my host sister started learning how to ride her bike without training wheels. She made a lot of progress in just one hour.
Finished catching up with Prison Break. Oh Korea, what have you done to me? Before I came to Korea, I was a loyal watcher of only a few television shows. Now I have too many to handle. We’ll see what becomes of me in the fall.
Not much else to report.
