Using Your Inside Voice
@ Cosi near a man with an obnoxiously loud voice and annoying laugh.
I’m admittedly biased on this topic because I am naturally soft-spoken, but I get annoyed–maybe too easily–when people are completely unaware of how loud they are. It’s not that all people with loud voices are inconsiderate, but people who have loud voices and don’t care about others around them–well, that’s when there is trouble.
Seriously? How can you not know how loud you are? And don’t tell me you can’t be quieter; I don’t buy it. All you do is succeed it labeling yourself as an ass, so don’t be surprised when people treat you as such.
To Tweet or Not to Tweet
I finally gave in and and registered for a Twitter account. For all you Twitter users, you can start follwing my by going to my Twitter page.
When I talking about giving in, I’m not implying that I think there’s anything wrong with Twitter; I’m just getting a bit tired of signing up for things that none of my friends actually use. The fact that I am able to follow one person’s Google Reader shared page excites me.
I really hope that I’ll stop ignoring my writing responsibilities in here. Will I succeed?
