Niblet Denial
I went on one of my anti-Niblet rants today. What can I say? I HATE corn, particularly when it comes out of a can. I call canned corn “Niblets” because that’s what I saw on the can and I just like how the word sounds. It’s kinda funny, no?
Apparently my lunch mates had never heard of the word “niblets” because they insisted they were just kernels and that they had never heard “niblets” in relation to corn. I didn’t deny that fact that they were kernels, but I knew I didn’t get the term “niblets” from nowhere.
Now, I have my proof.
