Seriously now…
Fully aware of the sweeping generalizations I am about to make (in the form of questions), here is a list of things I don’t understand about the male gender:
• Why do they feel a need to listen to everything at full volume?
• Why do they feel a need to listen to everything out loud to begin with?
Headphones people. What makes you think I want to listen to your crap?
• Why is turning on the TV always the first thing they do?
• Why do they put their wallet, loose change, and keys in annoying places?
Make your mess in your own space. (Seriously, this has been an issue for most of
my life).
• Why do they spit like it’s somehow necessary? (Okay, this doesn’t apply to everyone).
This post was mostly inspired by the first bullet point. I just do not understand why people listen to things at inappropriate volume levels. I am even known to listen to things a bit too loud (movies, in particular) and I still can’t imagine why anyone would want to listen to things that are too loud to enjoy.
To be fair, here’s a list of things people may wonder about me:
• Why is it so difficult for her to close cabinets?
• Why won’t she pick up the damn phone? Or return my calls?
• Why does she need to listen to ocean waves to go to sleep?
• Why won’t she stop pacing?!
